Not sure this fits here, but let me still try. I used yesterday evening a fountain pen I believe to be a 1970s Waterman C/F made in France, but cannot find a catalog listing exactly this pen. Maybe someone would kindly help. Thank you!

Here is a thread I opened on this topic:

And here are photos of the pen (sorry for the quality, made these last evening and couldn't find a way to get from the yellowish tint to natural colors):

Two more photos appear in OldTravelingShoe's Random Pics of European Fountain Pens: the shiny cap and the middle of the barrel with a "MADE IN FRANCE" engraving.

Parker Vector Flighter, with an M nib. Inked with Robert Oster soda pop blue. Such a good pen.

Yeah, Vectors are underrated.  All of mine are little workhorses.  Too skinny to be comfortable for writing the Great American Novel -- but fine for when I do morning pages.

Of course, in my case they were also, um, the gateway drug/pen....

Mine did not arrive with a converter or cartridge, and I even got a pack of modern cartridges (Serenity Blue) only to discover it does not work. So I bought the Waterman CF converter from Akkerman in Den Haag; I thought it was quite expensive (€15.6 + shipping), but the pen is worth it.

A newly arrived Pilot Custom Heritage 912 with a posting nib, filled with Van's Dieman's Cradle Mountain Grey. It will live in the front pocket of my Bullet Journal - perfect for tiny writing within the 5mm dot grid. Today, I thought, why not give it a whirl for my long form long hand journal (aka Morning Pages). Oh yeah, gorgeous. And... beautifully tuned.

@ChiWhere did you purchase the 😎 cool gold sheening KWZ ink you are using in this post?  I have to get a bottle, if I can!

Add more info. Never mind - I figured it out!

Today I am using a Montblanc 256 with an OM (or possibly OB, but I think not) nib. This pen is becoming one of my favorites, largely due to the form factor -- it feels substantial in my hand, but not huge. It's very well balanced. The open nib, I gather, is the same nib used in a lot of Montblanc pens of the era, like the 22 and 24, but without the sort-of fingernail overlay. To me the pen has a classic, pleasantly retro look without being out of date.

Isn't it. From the 1950's, and still in good shape. More than I can say for myself.  ☺️

Wonderful pen, @AmandaW. I'm even more intrigued by the nib - how does it write? I read "beautifully tuned" but am wondering if there are other qualifiers 😃
