I've been using my Pelikan Jazz with a Edelstein Sapphire cartridge for a few weeks now.  This pen is growing on me.  It doesn't seem as rough as before.  I'm still a newbie so maybe this just impact of a different ink.

Today it's been the purple Pilot Falcon, SF nib, refilled with Sailor Souboku this morning.

Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

ETA: Forgot about today's "morning pages" pen -- the black 51 Vac, F? nib, which DOESN'T have a name engraved on the barrel (but does, like the one I had with me over the weekend, have a T6 date code, and a rolled gold cap with the blue diamond on the clip).  That pen still has vintage Quink Permanent Blue Black in it.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

I’m using the lower end version of the Sheaffer Coffee pen with a nib. It’s filled with Oster Caffe Crema ink.

That's a pretty pen! Tempted...

And, coincidentally, my pen today is a Sheaffer as well, but a 440 Burgundy F filled with Taccia Umemurasaki.

Will work for pens...

Frankenpen ... Lamy Safari with a Jinhao 03 nib transplanted from a Jinhao 65, with a Lamy black cartridge.

I transplanted the nib last night, and so far it's working great.

@Penguincollector, you may be disappointed to know that my transplant, of course, removed the black Z50 EF nib.  😞

Today’s pen of the day is a Conklin Duragraph Abalone Nights with 1.1mm stub nib filled with Monteverde DC Super Show 2019 Teal ink.

I’m hoping using it will help me find the one I got as a gift. I hid it when the person came here, and now find I hid it from myself as well. I couldn’t find it in time for the birthday, so hopefully I’ll find it to give at Christmas.
