Interesting. I've wondered if there's some kind of standard others might go by (or consider) in weight preference. For me, 30-grams is the breaking point between light & heavy, & over time has been the deal-breaker on several pens I've considered buying.

Yeah I just looked and saw it listed as 60 grams---I hadnt really noticed the extra weight.

1980s vintage MB 149 with a Mike Masuyama stub nib and Rohrer and Klinger Blau Permanent.

One of my favorite pens - might even edge out my m1000 with CI nib by Mike.  Just fits my hand so well and the huge stub nib is a real joy.  Mike’s handiwork is amazing.

A Parker 51 with Diamine Writer's Blood and a Pelikan M150 with Diamine Onyx Black.  I like the M150 for note taking, it's light and reliable.

I've been enjoying my new Lamy Studio with KWZ Thief's Red ink.

Today’s pen is the Pilot Papa Kakuno with M nib. I added some water to revive the Diamine China Blue ink I put in an empty cartridge. It’s a pen bought in honor of my Papa who I miss very much.

@Andy1883, what’s your thoughts on Writer’s blood?  I am still fairly new to bottled inks and I recently saw this ink and it looks interesting (vs the Oxblood I am also considering).

I don't keep my ink in the original glass bottles. I store them in 30mL and 60mL Nalgene bottles, so I don't have either of those bottles any longer.

I have about 0.5 a bottle of blue left and about 1.5 bottles of Vespucci Red left.

Don't feel bad. I'm old; I'm meh about most things.

It is a busy day, so I am using my medium nib Pilot Metropolitan with a black ink cartridge.  It is on top of a Japanese pen holder I was given many years ago.

Several days ago, I found that I have an unopened bottle of Noodler's "Fox" ink.

I am planning to bring it to the next pen club meeting (December) along with a bunch of other inks to sell.

I have so much ink I know I will never use, that i want to get rid of it sooner rather than later.

Today I’m going back to my favorite 1.1mm stub nib pens. It will be the Monteverde Trees of the World Avenue of the Baobabs. It is filled with Iroshizuku Tsukushi. The pen is based on actual Baobab trees in Madagascar.
