Doing primary colors today with a fire-engine red OMAS Dama inked with a blue that comes out a bold navy with this little pen!

Faber Castell E-motion. Have another Loom that writes smooth in perfect conditions with full feed. This one is wetter which took a little convincing to sort out. Luckily it is where I want it.

Could you add a roll stop? One that it attractive, functional and hides the fault.

Not for that purpose, but thank you for the suggestion all the same.

I found this photo of my Delike New Moon 2 pens, taken shortly after they arrived, and I did complain to the seller about it:

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

Bespoke Stipula in amber celluloid with 18k fine nib, made for Penwright, possibly for the 2001 Dallas Pen Show. PENWRIGHT is engraved on the cap band. The barrel is imprinted: DALLAS EDITION 01

Thanks all for sharing.

Today, I first did some color experiments, to get a pallette for my visual project of the week. Used Lamy, Kaweco, TWSBI, Duke, Kaco, and Moonman pens for this. I inked them and tried 16 soluble inks -- in my world, 16 is a round number --. I paired and mixed the colors with water until I got my palette (colorful photo).

Then, and after sketching and painting for the day, I still had a bit of time so I did a bit of work. I inked up and briefly tested a 1950s Geha (a 605 with OB nib, overhead photo) and a Platinum Chenonceau White (3776C with UEF nib, photo through a 10x lens). I still have much to learn, about these, and about fountain pens and how to work with them in general. But what a good day for exploring fountain pens!

The usual:

...

Pilot 92 (F), comes in and out of rotation, likely to stay cos I really like this F nib (with Iroshizuku Take-sumi).

Already swapped out the Pilot 92 (F) for a Nakaya Naka-ai aka-tamenuri with a Pilot #15 F nib, same ink (literally - syringed the ink from 92 into a Platinum cartridge, then topped it off). I might prefer the smaller F nib, but I really like the larger one, too.

Today’s pen was a Haskoson blue and orange celluloid with polished ebonite cap made by Gerrit de Boer. I really like the feel of this pen, so I’ve also done a brief write-up on it in the European pen subforum. (No affiliation, just a satisfied customer)

I think I will use the black one. You know, the one with the gold ring and that nib thingy on the end.
