MontBlanc 144R F, Diamine Bah Humbug

Today (so far) it's been the recently acquired black Parker 61, F? nib -- still with whatever ink was in the capillary sponge when I got it; and the purple Pilot Falcon, SF nib -- still with Sailor Souboku.

Cross C-Series, with the Heriltz blue-black that was boxed with a Bugatti pen.

This is a curious, massive pen. I don't have a scale, but it weighs a lot, at least as hefty as a Jinhao 159. That's all right with me; I like to write with a solid pen. The notches in the finials give it an intriguing industrial look. And I have a soft spot for spring-loaded clips. The nib is 18K and writes nicely, but I do think it's undersized for a pen as substantial as this.

Sheaffer and pilot collaboration from 80’s that takes int standard cartridges, leaks from ring just above nib on base of section and is a definite finger stainer

I exercised all 3 today...the Sailor, Namiki, and Narwahl (or whatever the new name is)...even if for just several lines or so each.

Being newish, I have no idea how long an ink cart, or converter filled with ink lasts, not how fast it would stop "flowing" after

a period of non-use.  So far, I think I have no favorite among these 3 pens; they all are fantastic writers.

Today it's been:

1) the new-to-me Parker 45 (Dark Blue/Midnight, F nib) with vintage Quink Violet.

2) some Waterman c/c pen -- I think it's an Ideal Exclusive (black, F nib) with vintage Skrip Royal Blue.

3) Pilot Falcon (purple, SF nib) with Sailor Souboku.

ETA:  I THINK what's in the 45 is Permanent Violet, rather than Washable Violet, because it was in one of the brown glass jars I decanted the large bottle of Permanent Violet into....

Today’s pen is a humble black Jinhao 51a  EF with Diamine Registrar’s ink.  There may be others used later.

Today it is the Montblanc Gold Leaf with flex nib, filled with Montblanc Gustav Klimt ink.

I think, these fit excellently together. ;) :)  The blue looks surprisingly well represented although I didn't use any colour correction.

(sorry for the bad light and shadows on the photo)

One life!
