I think he's going to need a smaller wrench. And once he gets ink in that hose it is going to be a *itch to clean!

After a few weeks' excavating the playroom, I have just started to decorate it 🙂 Note The Elizabethan Ink bottle at left. It contains an ink that I made in October 1990, i.e. 24 years ago. Yes, it is still usable, and if your eyes are good, you can read the recipe on the bottle label.

Have fun!

@PJS_prog Morning!

It is dip nib holder, made of silver, presumably from around the mid 1900s or so

(which would make it 3/4 antique, if we adhere to the convention that antique >= 100 years;

not using the modern interpretation, where antique = anything older than last Thursday).

There where trillions of nib holders, of course -- from cheap school use to silver ones, the latter sold as desk sets by jewellers.

It is on the heavy side, but it has a nice balance.

Speaking of dip nibs: I consider this nib one of the most beautiful there is; a Dmitri 86:

I really like this pen. But this image... The composition of this photo is outstanding!

Inked up my Shaeffer Saratoga a couple of days ago to replace my Parker 61 as my "work pen".
