Wow! I didn’t know that Edelstein Topaz could be made to do that!

No wonder you love that paper 🙂

My bad.... CluelessMe, I neglected to say that Wearingeul Glitter was added to the Edelstein Topaz to get that effect.

My pen of the day is the Pilot Elite burgundy and gold with M nib. It has the cartridge it came with for ink.

Looks quite nice.

My only questions are "how heavy is it and what is the nib size"?

73 grams with ink. It was a broad nib but Micheal Chin tuned it down to a nice medium.

I disagree - the fault is all mine!
You did point out in your posts that you were experimenting with Wearingeul Glitter.
I stupidly assumed that that was an entirely different ink, one of which you not yet prepared photographs.

73g? 😮

What are you, preparing for a body-building competition? Oy!

For the foreseeable future a stylus pen will get more use than anything.  Courtesy of a wayward Surefire pocket flashlight impacting my tablet's bezel which, at the time didn't appear to cause any damage, but now realize what I thought was a spot of dirt is actually a small puncture with nine cracks radiating outwards to the other three sides.  Well at least now I know why "paper cuts" kept showing up on my fingertips...

Well, if you have enough cash spare to buy one, I heartily endorse the Parker 75 in Ciselé Sterling Silver (aka cross-hatch).
Ok, so it is only fairly wee, but it is a (properly) Shiny Thing ❤️ - and it doesn’t tip the scales to the tune of 73g! 😁

1. Vibrant Pink al-Star (1.1 mm stub nib) -- finishing a fill of Noodler's Grinch Garnet (trying to decide if I should refill, now that I have a NON-broken bottle of it).

2. Peter Pauper Press "Falling Blossoms" (F? nib) -- diluted J Herbin Eclat de Saphir.

3. Sailor 1911S "Loch Ness Monster" (MF nib) -- still with Sailor Souboku.

Today a Greenfield school pen with a medium nib. The ink is the cartridge supplied with the pen. The nib is of the downward-curved 'beak' shape which I really like for drawing - the broad wash with the nib turned over can be expressive and fun.

I was testing 3 Turquoise inks, in 3 pens with the same #8 Jinhao nib.

They look similar but upon enlargement, have different characteristics.

Paper is Cosmo Snow

  • Sailor Manyo Sumire :  Glows
  • Robert Oster Blue Water Ice:  Outlines
  • Private Reserve Naples:  Sheens

The results, comments & pics are in @Penguincollector's Trio thread --->  LINK
