What pen(s) are you using today?

Sadly, the only pens I've used so far today are two Biros at the optometrist's office.  One to fill in the form before the exam and another to sign the CC receipt.

Hope the news was all good and you have the all clear (vision!) to use a fountain pen.

Will work for pens...

I’m using my Pelikans a lot at the moment.

Today I used my M205F to write out my shopping list & to do a cryptic crossword (in R&K Sepia), and used my M800M for journalling (in Edelstein Aquamarine).

Today I’ll use a Jinhao x750 Shimmering Sands fitted with a Nemosine 1.1mm stub nib.

I’ve used other pens because I wrote a letter. I’m trying to participate in InCoWriMo this year to get back to letter writing.

Using a fountain pen is not a problem thank heaven.  (Can I say that here?)  My near vision is great.  I can even read the small print on the back of packets and bottles without reading glasses.  Distant vision, not so great. The good news is I don't need new glasses.  The bad news is I do need cataract surgery which isn't the big deal one thinks it is.  My late wife had it done 7 years ago and was ecstatic with the results.

@ParramattaPaul a family member of my generation got cataract surgery, and was very pleased with how he saw afterwards. It made me wish for the same, but I don’t think I have cataracts. I’m under 60. Sigh. I so want to be on Medicare.

Today it's been the translucent red Sheaffer School pen, F? nib, finishing up a fill of diluted Monteverde Ocean Noir, and the dark blue Parker 45 (Arrow?), OF nib, with Akkerman Laan van Nieuw Oost-Indigo.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

i'm using a pen that arrived last night from Naples - a new Leonardo model called "Fioritura." I'll have more details later in the Leonardo Photo thread, but here's a teaser:

Nice collection of pens and ink. I recognise most of the ink bottles but not the one on the right. Why do you remove/relabel the ink?

Thanks! Just a few of my pens for the picture. I purchased several empty ink bottles to fill with ink that comes with crappy bottles. For example, Diamine 30 ml bottles are terrible. Also Noodler's and Organic Studios don't come with the best bottles. I fill them up with various inks and add a label to identify them.

n+1

About to write all the ink out of my Asvine P36. I just love how this pen writes. I'm considering reloading it with ink!
