How on earth did you do that?

Well, it's really complicated. Here are the instructions:

1. Unscrew the #6 JoWo nib from a Opus 88 Demonstrator (It has to be that model, AFAIK)

2. Pull the nib and feed from a Pilot Parallel pen.

3. Push the PP nib into the section of the Opus 88 Demo

C'est ça.

If you go to youtube dot com and search for <opus 88 pilot parallel hack> you will find several videos demonstrating this.

Happy writing!

David

I think that is an amazing skeleton pen!  I wish it had an obnoxiously broad stub nib.

Very nice crew, @ethernautrix! Plus the Falcon is red.

(An ensso Piuma Ti may complement nicely the Kaweco Supra.)

Thanks, OldTravelingShoe!

You're right. Now you've put the ensso Piuma Ti on my radar. Thanks?

(Haha. Cos I'm always trying to reduce the number of pens I don't want to collect.)

Swell, another cool pen that I don't need but that's now on my radar. Thanks, Amberlea! Well done!

Beautiful pen, and judging by the writing sample the nib seems excellent! 😄

Funny. But a tough call: Tell the patient, when the cure is a challenge or does not exist?

Today's journal pen is a just arrived (new to me, but not new) Lamy Studio Lx All Black with a 14K fine nib filled with R&K Kastanienbraun. It's wetter than the standard black pvd-coated steel that would have been on this pen when new. (I have one on a Lx Ruthenium purchased last year - it's a bit dry and needed some smoothing.) So far, I'd say we are getting to know each other and will be patient before deciding whether one is better than the other. And whether I will replace this with the black 14k or the steel for aesthetics. (Cranky today so I wouldn't cast a vote on any matter because it would not be fair.)

Will work for pens...

I love the weight and feel of this pen! I wonder if Diplomat would make something like this for their 100th anniversary this year?

Getting dark (the sky is so pretty, twilight!), even so... this arrived today (ordered Feb. 22).

The Stone Blue is such a pretty color! If Pilot made a retractable gel pen of this Stone Blue color, I would totally buy it (a bunch of them).

I typically prefer flat-tops, but this Stone Blue is so pretty and the Pilot EF nib is one of my top favorite nibs, I like this pen more than I expected to. (I thought I'd like it, but I'm enthralled with it. Enthralled!)

I'll take a lighter picture tomorrow, ha.

ALSO: I liked the super extra-fine line, and then I realized the tines were choking the ink flow. So I gently pressed on the nib's shoulders a couple of times, like boing-boing, quick and careful, and that did the trick. The line is more what I expected (as seen on the hand-written note in the photo).
