Kaweco Sport, medium nib. A nice looking pen that runs terribly, hard starts after lifting the pen for like 2 seconds. Should’ve stuck with my Pilots.

@Vintage_BE That's a gorgeous pen and even more beautiful penmanship.

I'm still on my Pelikan M200 Demo kick, this one is a M200 Amber fitted with a BB nib from my M205 Duo Yellow and filled with Pelikan Edelstein Mandarin. Nib writes a little dry and sounds a bit squeaky. I'm not sure if the ink is a bit dry or the nib needs to be adjusted for more flow. I've got a Pelikan IB in the mail which I'm hopping will improve matters. Plus it's a silver nib on a pen with gold fittings. That's just wrong!

@ 1990 monotone gold (eyeballed) OBB MB 146.

Using MB lavender purple.  A wet ink with that wide of a nib.

I won a 146 pen with this black glass bottomed inkwell.

It may have been a bit plain for MB bidders, so I got it for the opening bid. I was more after the inkwell than the 146. I had noticed a stubbish OBB. It is how ever only regular flex not  semi-flex. mhB6Adj.jpg

Having an about 1990''s 146 didn't really need a second, but was chasing the inkwell.

Is it doing the same thing with another ink?

The new set, as it will remain for the foreseeable future. I posted this a few days ago in the TWSBI subforum, but my new ECO-T Rosso came in on Dec 5, and I finally got it set up; I needed to swap the nibs between the Rosso and the Clear. The Jade ECO on the end, I hadn't mixed the ink for it until after I took the photo. Along with the Rosso, I ordered bottles of TWSBI Emerald Green and Forest Green, and mixed them 1:1.

(L to R):
1. Blue ECO-T, EF
2. Transparent Blue ECO, 1.1 mm stub italic
3. Rosso ECO-T, M
4. Clear ECO, F
5. Transparent Yellow ECO, B
6. Pink ECO, EF
7. Jade ECO, EF

Tomorrow, I'm probably going to swap the nibs between the two blue pens, for aesthetic reasons, just because the Blue and Rosso ECO-Ts will live in the same dual pen case, and it will look nicer than putting the Transparent Blue ECO and Rosso ECO-T together. The Transparent Blue ECO will them have the EF nib and be my primary daily writer. The other four live in a separate quad pen case, because they don't get used as often.

Today, I inked a Armando Simoni Club Studio in a color called "Blue Pinnacle."  It's grading time and it will get a good workout -

Today it's been the Sailor Lecoule, MF nib (which someone in my local pen club was giving away at this year's Pelikan Hub) -- still with Sailor Sky High.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Today I will be using my thirty-seven year old Montblanc 146 with a fine/medium nib. It is my Sunday pen and is always reliable. It is filled with Montblanc Royal Blue. It is also one of the few pens I acquired new. Most of my pens are "previously owned."

@amper That's a lovely collection from a brand I've never tried. Nice!

@Bo Bo Olson Excellent score on the Montblanc collection. The 146 is a personal favorite and it looks like everybody here agrees.

@PAKMAN Another brand I'm not familiar with, but it looks very elegant.

Finally posted pictures of all my inked M20X Demos. So, moving up the ranks here's a M400 white tortoise which is always filled with Pelikan Edelstein Olivine. Still working thru the Edelsteins. Apparently, it's all Pelikan, all the time!

My only Mont Blanc, which I used yesterday for the first time in a year, is about that old. It was given to me in 1989 when I completed a post graduate degree.

🤩 What a stunning pen!  That blue really is the pinnacle of blues.

I haven’t picked up a pen yet this morning, but it will probably be my Sheaffer Lady black tulle inked with Skrip Red to write in a card I am sending to my best friend.

Yes, tried different inks, same issue. I ended up stretching the tines, and going with Pilot Blue Black, my go-to for problem pens. It’s even wetter now, but the hard starts are less frequent.

I am really enjoying the snapshots of your journey though the different models and colors of Pelikan pens and ink in your collection. This white tortoise and Olivine pairing is very complimentary.
