I used my Kaweco x Galen Leathers collaboration transparent Sapphire pen with 1.1mm stub nib filled with KWZ Sapphire. It took some nib rinsing to convince it to write.

1825 Waterman gold filled Gothic. I sent it off to Francis for re-sacking...as a disappointing semi-flex. He cleaned the pen and set the nib and feed properly, so it is now a Wet Noodle.

The East German Singwitz, had what looked like an EEF nib, but is a disappointment only writing to an EF.

Francis put a new gasket in it.

By me a pen should work, even if it was originally cheap.

This a pen below, not inked now,  that cost more to repair than it's 'worth'...but a pretty pen anyway. And now it works.AfZ17lM.jpg

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

The cheapest lessons are from those who learned expensive lessons. Ignorance is best for learning expensive lessons.

@BBO, Why is the nib on your Waterman Gothic so dark?

So far, today, it's been the M405 Stresemann, B nib -- still with Edelstein Rose Quartz.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."
