Here are the ones I’m using. A newly filled Monteverde Mountains of the World Orange Mountains, with a 1.1mm stub nib, filled with GvFC Burned Orange.  And a Kaweco Sport Skyline in gray, M nib, filled with a cartridge of Kaweco Smokey Grey. With a nod @Baka1969

Nice matching set. Even the Monteverde matches the Casio.

Oh crud, I mentioned the paper in the Stub of the Day part 2 thread. It’s Tomoe River paper in an Elemental notebook.

@USG do you stay up late, or get up very early?

I don't usually fill pens all the way either. 👍😀

I filled an arrow clip Chinese piston filler more than I usually do, and have been using it since the summer. It’s an EF so it’s probably going to last all year at this rate. I’m using it today. Fill level is finally down to the section area.large.IMG_0299.jpeg.f431717e2b47c249712fe72eed0647d0.jpeg

I have a lot of pens inked but today I am picking these two especially.

Pilot 742 SE Ishimaru Lapis Lazuli FM
It is a purple-blue translucent tone and amazingly gorgeous. I wish Pilot would release more of these rich and deep colorways instead of just black.......(but then my wallet isn't complaining)

Laban A Sanyu in hand Gold M
A lot of my Laban pens are my favs out of all my whole collection.
This pen was released after a success in crowdfunding this year.  I admire the art and the concept of the pen.
It was well delivered, gracefully.
A brass pen , with such intricate details, what more can I ask for ?

That's a really nice pen! Can you tell us a bit more about it?

It's a prototype Bexley that was never completed.  I borrowed parts from a L.E. Bexley pen to finish it off.

Today's pen is a Sailor Shining Blue 14k EF filled with Iroshizuku Shin Kai which is the best feeling ink I have tried with it. I don't know if the improved flow and smoothness is from the ink or because it's Day 11 of my 30 days using it for everything in an effort to get along with it... Maybe the nib is getting settled in? Or I am getting used to it? (The previous pen, with similar discomfort, took about 2 weeks and several inks before we began to get along.)

I will be working through more of the blue-blacks and dark blues I have on hand in the coming weeks in the quest for one which is The One.

Will work for pens...

A wonderful sentiment for a pen you enjoy. The details on the cap are lovely.

Both are stunning pens, but that 742 is a perfect shade of blue.  💙

Today’s pen is a humble black Amazon Basics F with a Pen Savings violet cartridge.
