Well that sounds so cool. I wonder if there are two. I’d like one, and I’m sure my brother might as well.

Edit: looked at eBay. The one I saw costs more than the pen I bought. Yikes!

😮 I didn’t see how expensive that was! Wow.

I used a TWSBI Diamond Mini AL in Mint Blue filled with J Herbin Violette Pensee in my Log book. I numbered it wrong, going from 172 to 193. I found the issue, and renumbered the pages. Now this notebook will run out of pages in the first week or two of November.

And again I dug out the Lucky Curve Duofold (push-button filler) with a banking pen tailfin attached, and I enjoy it for a month and then put it back in storage until I discover it all over again.

Some day I might find a fancy mount for the pen, but the desk is much too messy for this.

I’m using a Cross/Franklin Covey Lexington M nib inked with Diamine Autumn Oak. People keep saying this is an orange, but my bottle is caramel colored, with no real hint of any orange or red.

I used a Conklin Duragraph Voyager with a 1.1mm stub nib filled with Diamine Salamander in my Log book entry of the day.

Cross Bailey, Diamine Oxford Blue.  This pen was stuck in a draw for a couple of years and the ink had dried.  I gave it a flush and refilled with the Diamine and it's now working well.  I like this pen, it's a good size and weight for me.

Parker Vector "Looney Toons Tasmanian Devil" reboot (with the dark pink background), F nib -- Platinum Classic Forest Black.

Oh, and a black Sharpie to cross out our address and the bar code to toss some political email back at the post office as "Refused -- Return to Sender".....

Tonight’s journal pen is once again the waterman expert and the blue mystery cartridge. I suspect, that it may be a Florida blue as I have had it that long. That and, in the Leuchtturm B6+ notebook that I’m using as my journal it is quite a light blue not so much a dark blue black.

Yeah, I'm a total sucker for silver.  I blame Pakman.  Early on in my journey through this forum, I found a thread called "Show Us Your Silver Pens" and found myself just DROOLING over the photo he posted of his YoL Viceroy Victorian Grande.
I have a few sterling pens now -- a couple of Morrison ringtops with sterling overlays (one of which has the same filigree overlay that I've seen on other vintage brands, including Waterman) and a Parker 75 Ciselé (got outbid on one with an F nib a few years ago on eBay, but then got mine (with a B nib) for the minimum because NOBODY was watching that listing but ME (go figure).

Thanks! Now I really want another silver pen. :)

I was looking at listings earlier this week and I've also been making mental notations of various sterling pens I'd like to add to the collection.

Just one more pen? Right? ;)

At the Pen Realm table there was a  silver filigree Waterman (I think, it was in July, so I may be misremembering) covered with little diamonds. It was a huge pen, and about 6K.  It was so pretty.

$6,000 is watch territory. I'm not at that level for pens. lol

Yesterday I was using the Waterman Boucheron [M]...  one of my least used pens.

Ink was recent Waterman Blue but I changed it to vintage Waterman Blue Black.

Paper was Cosmo Snow and the yellowy pages of a B5 Life Notebook.  From now on I will only get white.

Sailor Shikiori Yonaga

W-S 630s

Pelikan 4001 Blau-schwarz

Diamine Majestic Blue

My Big discovery is that Diamine Sargasso Sea and Sailor Shikiori Nioi-Sumire are Doppelgangers.  Follow the LINK.

Hey, I'm not at the $350 level for pens.  Never MIND $6000.  Even my grail pen (a Y-o-L Viceroy Victorian Standard size, isn't at THAT price threshold...

I think I paid under $150 for the Cisele 75, with tax and shipping.  Unfortunately it's developed a taste for MB Jimi Hendrix ink.... :headsmack:  Which isn't QUITE unobtanium, yet....
