What pen(s) are you using today?

EF nib, a Chinese Gold Powder ink named CX-03 (Amazon) that looks kinda greenish near the top of the feed-maybe the gold powder in the greenish blue ink?  Paper today is a high gloss planner made by Universe Publishing.

Makes perfect sense... gold powder in blue ink could look green.  But is it gold when you write?

Look at that.  At first glance it looked like it was a Parker 'something'. Very nice pen, btw.  Fine nib?  What ink did you fill it with?  Is that some green shimmer near the piston seal or a mirage  What paper were you using?   Curious minds want to know.😁

😀  Nice !!

What paper were you using?  Would you say the Oxford Blue is a dry, wet or average ink?

Writing in my new journal which has decent weight paper.  Ink took approximately 7.44 sec to

completely dry, with my ceiling fan working.

Yes, not so much in this pen all the time, because it’s an EF, but in bigger nibs or while drawing and coloring it’s more noticeable.

Today I have written with the purple inked Targa, and plan on dipping various medium nibs into various inks for a project. What nibs and what inks are undecided.

Top 5 of 19 currently inked pens:

MontBlanc 144 IB, Herbin Orange Indien/ Wearingeul Frost

Sailor x Daimaru Central Rockhopper Penguin PGS mini, Sailor Wonder Blue

Parker 88 Place Vendôme IB, Diamine Golden Sands

Salz Peter Pan 18k gold filled filligree fine flex, Waterman Serenity Blue

Pilot Silvern Dragon IB, Iroshizuku Kiri-Same

Haha, I didn't mean dry time, what I meant was did you find the ink to be a wet ink, dry ink or just average?  I have 14 Diamine blue inks but not this one, and some of them were pretty dry so I was wondering how Oxford was?

The purple in with the Gold sheen?  I liked that one. 🙂

Today I'm trying out the Jinhao 9019.  It's massive.  I feel like it could use a bigger nib to go with its bigger size.  Ink is Robert Oster Grey Seas, paper is Cosmo Snow.

I like Cross Centuries but the only ones I had were BPs.  Your red ink with gold shimmer must look tremendous.

Me:

I'm still getting a feel for the Jinhao 9019 (M)

Diamine Jack Frost

The CX inks are really fun. I originally bought them for my glass/dip pens, but they are fp inks.  It’s a 24 color set:

CX Made Inks

The older Cross Century is really nice. I had one with a 18k nib through school and it was a great writer. I recently was shredding 20+ year old coursework and the shading of the old Cross BB ink and the nib were so pretty. I probably should have kept one sheet just for that.

Shiny!  Today I'm writing out a Kaweco Perkeo Calligraphy pen with the biggest nib... using up an unfortunate ink mix.  🙀

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.
