What a beautiful pen!  I don't know a lot about Waterman models (although I've picked up a few here and there).

For me, today, it's been the white Esterbrook SJ, 1555 Gregg nib, with modern Quink Permanent Blue; and the Pelikan M205 Blue Marbled, M nib, with Pelikan 4001 Blue Black.

Not used (but at least found) was the Gold and Black Lamy al-Star, F nib (which still has Robert Oster Astorquiza Rot in it); the pen had been missing for several days, and I was afraid it had been lost while I was camping -- even checking to see if it had been turned into Lost and Found, but while packing up, I was pulling a t shirt and shorts out of a tub in the tent (mostly to grab the pair of shorts, which had a belt with it) but discovered the pen still clipped to the neckline of the shirt ).

I use various pens at different times of the day so, for ease of reference, I do a monthly list of my pens with inks.

Thanks! I did rehydrate a cartridge. Once I got it flowing I started a test page.

Today’s pen is a slender green Parker “ toothbrush” Duofold with a  Fine nib; filled with whatever blue ink the person who traded it to my dealer put in it- possibly Pelikan Königsblau.

Today it's been the Noodler's Konrad Forbidden City, flex nib -- newly refilled with Noodler's Heart of Darkness; and the Pelikan M405 Blue Marbled, M nib -- still with Pelikan 4001 Blue Black (an ink I'm liking more and more).

Waterman Phileas - M. nib.  Ink:  Dryden Designs Decadent Purple

Picture 2 of 5

That looks like the Danube version as Phileas has four River designs. I have the green version, so Amazon River.

Surprisingly, my Pilot pens have put away my Pelikans and Sailors into storage.

I have been writing with two Pilot 823's FA/WA and Pilot Justus F for the last 3 weeks.

I think I found the perfect pen, and its the 823's/Justus. I think I will hold off on paying pens for a few years, and just enjoy what I have.

good plan @TitoThePencilPimp, i realised this at the start of the year - have quite a few pens now so time to enjoy some of them.  theres a few i keep coming back to as the writing experience seems just right for just about anytime and anywhere.
