🤢 😱 I wonder what was on those dipped pens!

AFAIK, they were new pens, that he opened up in front of me.  Fortunately the Primavera and the Patrician I brought with me had their own ink and didn't need to be dipped.  LOL, in fact I still have those 2 pens...

Today's journal pen is a Charcoal Lamy Safari with a fine nib and Lamy Petrol.

For drawing, a transparent green Jinhao 992 fitted with a fude nib (harvested from a Duke 209 that was hopeless at sealing). Have filled it with Pilot Black.

Will work for pens...

Today I am using a Sailor Clear Candy inked with Wearingeul Wanderer. I had to use a cartridge, as the Sailor converter was too loose.
Trying to decide what to bring with me tomorrow as I carry on volunteer duties at the PNW Pen Show.

Today it's been a Noodler's Charlie, flex nib, with Noodler's Kung Te Cheng; and the Gold and Black Lamy al-Star, with Robert Oster Astorquiza Rot.

While I'm not normally a fan of burgundy inks, or brown-leaning reds/red-leaning brown, Astorquiza Rot is starting to grow on me (unfortunately it's also LITERALLY on me, even though I THOUGHT I had wiped the section... ).

As the Recorder at our Leadership Meeting earlier today, I decided to fully ink up the Luxury "Fake"

Bohemia series pen.  Wondered if it would keep up with the speed required in taking the minutes.

Inked the pen with Chesterfield Antique Oxford, and off I went.  I used an entire converter of ink,

and the ink flow was perfect.  The pen got a look or two from others.  My fake Bohemia was

definitely put through its paces today, and it came through with flying color.  Did better than

I thought it would.

I ended up carrying my new clear piston demonstrator with a Chinese blue shimmer ink. The Clear Candy felt a bit too fragile and I didn’t want to risk having anything currently inked walking away while I was helping.  My new pen is very inexpensive ($2.74), but pretty and a good writer.

Journalling this morning with the Sailor Snowmoon that arrived a few weeks ago - photo above, somewhere. It's getting more than it's share of writing. Still running Sailor Black.

Will work for pens...

Gotta love those names.  First it's Robert Oster Astorquiza Rot then it's Papier Plume Bayou Nightfall.  😵

I remember when you were writing with Montblanc Jimi Hendrix Purple Haze, which LateToThePartyMe thought was a pen, but turned out to be a very nice shade of dark purple ink. 🙂👍

Today's workers are a Kanwrite Heritage with Fountain Pen Revolution EF ultraflex nib (I had one going spare, and the Kanwrite nib was a little too stiff for my liking), and a Waverley Cameron eyedropper.

That’s because my brain keeps wanting to rename Wearingeul Wayfarer. It’s a really pretty, spakly sheeny teal. Sorry,  I just noticed that I seem to do that with inks.
