My two 'new to me' Vintage No Nonsense pens 🙂

One  F gold plated nib, with Diamine Denim

And one M steel nib with Sheaffer Black.

I think the M has the edge for now for my handwriting, but that could change when the F is filled with Aurora Black ....

So, Amanda, I'll send you samples from those two straight-from-the-source Troublemaker Inks later, probably along with some other stuff that can also fit inside a ‘large letter

Thankyou. I would like to amend my post where I have provided a writing sample and named it as Milky Ocean to avoid confusion for future searchers.

Can a moderator assist?

Will work for pens...

Today's journal pen is a Pilot Custom Heritage 91 with a medium nib and Iroshizuku Yama-budo. I rather like the lipstick-hued ink from the conservative pen - as seen in the writing in front of the pen. (I'm not sure what the ink above it is - probably a converter moved from another pen at some point, that concentrated and darkened, then ran out half way through my entry today. No matter, I was waiting for a chance to use the Yama-budo.) 💗

Isn't Yama-budo a lovely color?

If you zoom in, you can see the gold sheen.

That pen is stunning!  Now I can justify not buying a Leonardo during our recent Italy trip because none were this beautiful.  Thanks for that!

I dunno. That line of reasoning has never worked for me. 🤣

Now we know what you didn't buy in Italy. Did you buy other beautiful pens?

Today it's been three pens:

1) Parker Red Shadow Wave, F nib -- with its almost perpetual (at this point) fill of Waterman Mysterious Blue.

2) Sailor 1911S Loch Ness Monster LE, MF nib -- Sailor Souboku.

3) Sheaffer Snorkel Special (burgundy), with what I THINK is an EF nib -- modern Skrip Blue (from the thread about modern Skrip inks, especially in the conical bottle, this might be the Slovenian production stuff).

TWSBI with a broad nib, the clear one that was popular years ago. It’s developed cracks but is still working. Filled with Iroshizuku, I think syo-ro, ink.

Pilot Metro in red with a CM nib and Parallel sepia ink in it. I dropped it on the floor at work too—thank goodness it didn’t land nib first.

I am using my favourite pen; a chased black Onoto Magna with a broad nib.  I also used the formerly unloved (still not loved) LE Lamy Safari to write something on (bleep) paper since the Lamy has a medium nib.
