I had to google it too   I'm still none the wiser.... apparently it means something completely different these days....

Before my time as well, but I found it by searching for ‘plunk YOUR magic twanger froggy’ … innocent times back then 😄

I 'Googled' that too... I did 'find it'... It was just all 'new to me'... Hence no real 'connection' or memories.

My childhood viewing was Andy Pandy and the Flowerpot Men. Weed....

And then we moved to Australia so it became Mr Squiggle.

Will work for pens...

I had a weed inspired childhood, too.

Back to the subject at hand:

A Marine Amber Waterman Carene with a medium nib; loaded with Waterman Mysterious Blue Ink, (and matching ballpoint for those ugly writing tasks).

Uhhh ... Well, it's not easy being green, except when you are the pen I'm using today.

Salvatore told me this pen needs to go with Pesto Genovese, so I sent him this photo from my 2014 visit to Manarola:

Beautiful ink and writing sample!  I have the Leonardo MZ in alga green and I really like the “spaghetti” resin look but that’s a mighty nice looking Magico.

The eagle is a mid-size pen, easy on various pockets, and comfortable because it's well-balanced.

Fitted with a small nib, the nib  looks out of proportion to the pen, but writes very well. It's currently inked with the Lapis Bard Honey Mead.

And today, we have the Gama German Ebonite pen entering the rotation. So happens that this pen comes with a contrasting cap and barrel but with enough subtle and not-so-subtle accents of the contrasting colours.

Fitted with a Gama Fine nib, and inked with Pilot Iroshizuku Kiri-Same grey, the pen lays down a wet fine line. Well-balanced despite its size and girth to hold and write, this pen is a little too large to fit in shirt pockets or clipped to a tee. It can, however, be dropped into your jeans pocket.

A beautiful pen, very comfortable, and quickly becoming a personal favourite.

Thank you, Sean. A good friend picked it up for me from The India Pen Show this year!

Previously I used some chopsticks rest as a pen holder :)

You're welcome; I'll search eBay and other venues for one.

Btw, please tell me you changed your ID name; or am I slipping into the Twilight Zone again. 😄

I did change my display name to reflect my newly created Instagram account for my pens.

The Lotus Kanchenjunga in yellow acrylic is one of the pens in my roll today. This pen entered rotation more than a month back but it looks like I filled this removable-piston-filler a little too full and is still going strong!

The yellow acrylic is bright and cheery and the pen is nicely weighted and balanced in hand. The pen posts but I prefer writing with it unposted.

Inked with the Iroshizuku Kiri-Same, the Schmidt medium nib lays down a wet thick line and is super smooth.

It's a bit too large for standard shirt pockets but fits nicely in a jacket pocket as well as in jeans. It's a great pen to have in a roll in your office bag, though.
