Thanks to @Penguincollector’s blue pen club thread, I went to the trouble to get my Montblanc Corn Poppy Red ink out. When I got mine, it was $23.95. I used this true red ink in a pen that cost under $5, and came with a small converter.

Oh WOW. I didn't know that Mont Blanc made a Snoopy pen!! LOL

Yes, I saw the five-point star on the finial.

Just kidding about the MB. After my initial reaction to the similar star on the finial I recognized/realized that it was a five pointer rather than a six pointer. It might be interesting if MB did create a "Great Cartoon Character" series. They would probably have to do it for each country as I suspect that different country and different cultures might (or do) view the concept of humor from different perspectives.

Today it's been the the red Cross Solo, F nib, with diluted Birmingham Herr's Island Ultramarine (it was easier to just refill the pen with distilled water than flush it last night, because I'd had a stressful day and wasn't feeling well).

Diluted, the ink makes for a very nice medium turquoise.

The photo's fine 51ish. Nice pens, and I agree about the P25.  👍

Thank you for your kind words. I've found a couple of P25's in a box of other pens in the last week or so...both pens had been left with ink left sat in them 😲 (Parker Quink Blue cartridges)...for over 45 years....I 'sort of' 🤣 cleaned both pens with an ear bulb ( I pumped water through till it ran clear 🤣)  and inked them both with Pelikan Blue/Black (considered to be a 'dry' ink from what I remember...?)  Both pens performed like  brand new out of the box. Both pens have a medium nib (as pens in this price bracket generally  did back then in the UK) They both produce 'shading' with this ink and try as I might I can't get either of them to 'skip'. I've never taken a fountain pen to work because of the nature of my job, but the P25 is a 'work horse' So I've put it on a Work Trial 😄  Can it 'compete' with a ballpoint at work?

If MB made a Snoopy pen at a low enough price, it would be my first MB pen. I love Snoopy and the gang. The Peanuts comic strip was syndicated so widely, they are worldwide characters. So they could be the first!

I don’t need a reason to buy a Vector. I love them!

Today I am using a Lamy clone that was 79 cents. It behaves like a 79 cent pen would, my hands are as teal as my hair. However,it does writes nicely. I’m also still working on the Moonman and like 8 other pens.

The first of two pens entering into rotation (for the first time) today IMG_20230225_081741-01.thumb.jpeg.6f4bde2cfd2b2f48ea1d5e142eeea6a8.jpegIMG_20230225_081707-01.thumb.jpeg.230a862678400ab39ec368c61a7a10c0.jpegis the Twsbi classic in tourquoise.

Inked with the epitome turquoise, this medium nibbed pen writes beautifully smooth and wet.

It's a definite for my office carry, not just in the pen roll but in the short pocket because of its dimensions, design, and colour.

The second of the two pens entering rotation today (for the first time) is the Twsbi precision.

Medium nib and inked with the Iroshizuku kon-peki, this one is a beautiful writer too.

A bit heavier than the classic with sharper faceting and a different clip fastener, this pen is close to the twsbi classic.

Definitely office carry but will probably be in a sleeve or roll rathen that pocket because of the weight.IMG_20230225_082035-01.thumb.jpeg.02accb586cf275c2c5b4b4e08a15f68a.jpegIMG_20230225_082113-01.thumb.jpeg.a99062d9702d7035a8e2c5d29eba2ba1.jpeg

Love these - are you just using the reverse of the nib for the brush-style strokes?
