What pen(s) are you using today?

I'm not poo pooing mine! Just acknowledging that it's not some amazing celluloid with a honking nib and wild ink. It's tiny and black and filled with dark brown.

And even though I'm working hard at reducing my Currently Inked to some reasonable number it would be topped up if it even thought about running low.

Very cool indeed. Just like the Jinhao of a few days ago.

Will work for pens...

@51ISH, thanks- it was less stressful than I expected, and very fun. It’s funny that both you and @AmandaWkinda pooh-pooh your pens but I have been looking for both the blue and green Parker 25s and have lately been taken with Japanese pocket pens.  They are both cool!

I've 'found' a couple of genuine 1970's Parker 25's in a 'pen box'  only yesterday. They are both blue trim. I've tested one and it writes as it should.  It doesn't have a converter but that should be easy enough to come by. Looking at the pen if I put it in a box you would think it was new. It's a M nib (as they mostly were back then)  PM me your address and I'll happily post it to you.

I love it, it’s adorable- and dark brown is an amazing ink color.  It sounds like you love it too.
Honestly, they’re all cool.

I used my Regal 82 William pen, filled with Pelikan Edelstein Garnet. I decided to switch from a vintage Pelikan brown tortoise to the Regal to follow the Chiefs games this year. The last entry was made today after they won Super Bowl LVII. I got the pen in honor of my Dad, after he died.

Today's journal pen is a Pilot Custom 74 Wine Red F inked with R&K Alt-bordeaux cos it's Valentine's Day and red seems appropriate. And it was a gift from my dh - birthday last year - near enough.

Will work for pens...

My 'Old Faithful'  Beijing Jinxing A28.  Just fits my hand and writes and performs as well as any of my other pens. My only pen that is always inked.  I think that says it all.

Have you tried  Diamine Oxblood?  I think if you like Red Dragon, you'd like Oxblood.

Not yet, but it’s going on the list- Diamine is fast becoming a favorite ink brand as it seems to play well with every pen that I have inked with it. I don’t remember it being readily available over here as it is now.
