Today it's been the Pelikan P22 "MOOVIE" pen, F(?) nib, with Birmingham Pens Armadillo.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

How cute is that?!  Is Peter Pan the maker and how old is it?

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

Salz Brothers is the Company and Peter Pan was under that company’s umbrella, I think. I don’t know when this pen was manufactured, but they were issued their first patent in 1918 and were in business into the 1950s, as far as I know.  George is a bulb filler, so that might narrow down the timeline a bit. When I find out more, I will definitely share my findings!

Today's journal pen is a brown Opus 88 Picnic filled with Diamine Chocolate.

I have this pen also. I got a sample of the ink Colorverse made to match it, and that ink is currently in mine. I have the 30ml of Diamine Chocolate, so that might be the next ink for mine. Somewhere I read the brown one called coffee brown. Coffee and chocolate, mmmm

If you’re ever in the market for vintage Pelikans,  Rick is the one to go see- he’s the OG Penguin.

A few years ago at a pen show I went to a talk he gave about collecting vintage Pelikans.  That was a bad mistake for me -- because now I am lusting after vintage 100s.... And can't afford them.... :crybaby:

I get it Ruth. I’m considering getting a part time job just for my hobbies.

Today's journal pen is an extra fine gunmetal Faber Castell Loom filled with J.Herbin Cacao du Bresil. It is one of the surprises in the Great Pen Clean -  it had not dried out! I'm enjoying these discoveries.  :cloud9:

Will work for pens...
