As usual I'm using a bunch of pens, but while I was writing with my Waterman Liaison, I looked down at the nib and although at some angles it appears flat, I swear it looked like it had an ever so slightly Waverly upturn....  So I grabbed my cellphone and took a pic.

Snap. I used a Pilot 742 with a Waverley nib for my journal this morning. :) It's filled with Yama-guri.

Will work for pens...

Today I am trying my newly arrived Kaweco Liliput with the Kaweco blue cartridge supplied. Very smooth writer.

Today it's been a blue-black ink day:
1) black Vacumatic 1st Gen (lockdown filler), EF nib -- think the model MIGHT be a Junior, but not sure -- with Waterman Mysterious Blue;

and

2) Hudson Bay Fathom Noodler's Konrad, flex nib -- with reconstituted Noodler's 54th Massachusetts.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

I just inked a modded Jinhao x450/Zebra G nib pen for the first time with Edelstein Olivine. I’m hoping I didn’t choose too dry an ink for it. It’s really different, nothing like a dip pen or a regular fp.  I haven’t written much with it, I will attempt writing after dinner.

Top 5 of 19 currently inked pens:

MontBlanc 144 IB, Herbin Orange Indien/ Wearingeul Frost

Sailor x Daimaru Central Rockhopper Penguin PGS mini, Sailor Wonder Blue

Parker 88 Place Vendôme IB, Diamine Golden Sands

Salz Peter Pan 18k gold filled filligree fine flex, Waterman Serenity Blue

Pilot Silvern Dragon IB, Iroshizuku Kiri-Same

always looking for penguin fountain pens and stationery

Using my new Kaweco Original. The 250 nib version doesn't appear to be available at my local retailer but the 060 gives me an idea how it feels.

Really light to handle compared to my old favourite Brass Sport but I am becoming accustomed to the less hefty sensation.

Edelstein Tanzanite arrived today and a new kaweco standard converter to replace my Kaweco midnight blue cartridges.

Also writing with my Montblanc 'Unicef' edition 145 Classique (M) which also has Edelstein Tanzanite ink today.

Happy writing.

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

This morning is a Waterman body with an Eversharp Broad Flex Stub.  @tringle helped me rehome this lovely nib to a more fitting pen body.

Wonderful nib, and it looks well suited to the Waterman.  👍

Thank you!  It is a favorite.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

It isn't as bright as it looks in the photo.  It was watered down Birmingham Tesla Coil.
