What a very pleasing design. I'd be very tempted by this if it were more easily available.

Pretty sure the only place it is available is at the Triosmore site (linked to from the kickstarted page).

What have you done with the cat? It looks half dead.

I've been using a couple of quite similar pens from about the same era. The first is a Parker 51 aerometric in dark blue with a gold cap, medium nib. The second is a Sheaffer PFM V, also in dark blue (and of course a gold cap) with a medium nib. These are pens that made a strong impression on me when I was a child, especially the Sheaffer, and I love the blue and gold color combination, as these were the colors of both my elementary and high schools. I have been careful to fill them only with Waterman inks, and they write marvelously.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

Last night was my burgundy Optima Mini with L'amant, along with my blue M405 with Kana-cho.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

That's such an interesting pen.  What color do you have,  What nib and how does the surface feel when you write with it?

Great Colors !

A Parker 51 with a medium nib.  I have 3 unrestored 51s, two have fine nibs and one seems to be an extra fine.  I'm sure there must be many mediums around... I just haven't seen them....🙂

And a Sheaffer PFM, something that's been on my list for ages but I've never actually held one or wrote with it. 🙂

Leonardo Furore in "Ginger" resin. It has a gold plated steel stub nib made by JoWo. Inked with Leonardo Noce Moscato.

I’ve been curious about L’amant ink. What are your impressions of it?

It is blue in what is called a shark skin finish with a hand tooled sterling silver cap and a stub nib done by Danny Fudge. It is a wonderful writer!

Today has been a Parker 45 day for me:

Red Rage 45, M nib -- vintage Quick Permanent Blue Black

black 45, B nib -- Waterman Serenity Blue.

Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."
