Today I'm using a vintage Montblanc 144! 😁🖋️

Pelikan 140 inked with Akkerman Emerald something (hard to remember the names). A nice parsley looking color.

Lamy Emporium with Akkerman 10.

I started another adult coloring book page last night, and inked a Baoer 388 with J.Herbin Orange Indien, and the yellow pen of the five below set with the included yellow cartridge, which is a true yellow, to my surprise.  I don’t have any more room in my pen rack, so I have to wait for one of the blue inked pens to run out to ink more colors.  @amberleadavis, if you haven’t checked out adult coloring books with heavyweight  paper, I recommend it- I get to use tons of colors and different size nibs, and if I don’t feel like inking a ton, I use a glass pen.

Top 5 of 25 currently inked pens:

MontBlanc 144 IB, Herbin Orange Indien/ Wearingeul Frost

Sailor 🐧 Mini Pro Gear Slim M, Van Dieman’s Neptune’s Necklace

Pelikan M605 F, Pelikan Edelstein Moonstone

Wing Sung 698 SF, Pelikan Edelstein Golden Lapis/ Sapphire

Cross Wanderlust Malta M, DeAtramentis Columbia Blue-Bronze-Copper

Recently purchased a Namiki Vanishing Point which I’m having fun with.

I finally got myself a Pilot Capless today and it writes a lot better than I expected. The clip does not get in the way of my fingers as I thought they would. It's a shame that the converter is so small, though.

I agree. Mine clip is a bit smaller I believe than the current ones and is not in the way at all. Converter is small but works for my needs. A beautiful pen.

Current lineup:

Lamy 2000

A bunch of others

Just getting acquainted with this "Quiet Writing" fountain pen --- ordered it on something of a whim and it just arrived --- so far so good. Rather simple/minimal aesthetic, art-pen style, wooden barrel and cap, and I ordered it with the wooden sheath (not shown). It is a snap-cap with a somewhat unique clip (that can be removed).

That's an interesting cap.

I've fallen in love with Diamine Syrah in my favorite pen, the tortoiseshell Pelikan 400.  Wonderful ink for the pen and the season imo.

My first gold nib was a Pilot 823 that has recently developed a crack on a thread to my misfortune. All in all, my fault for dissembling it for a deep cleaning that must have overtightened. I bought the 743 to take the FA to use on the 823, but now the FA is back where it came from! Ancient Copper is for some reason very pleasing to me paired with black-gold pens.

The E Motion continues being a great reliable everyday pen that I don't have to think too much about when carrying or placing around. The medium nib is boxy and gives a stubbish like writing experience that makes for some enjoyable subtle line variation.

I recently tacked on a Kerry that I have since always kept in a pocket. The size and capping are both very satisfying. I highly recommend it :)

Day two with the "Quiet Writing" (QW) pen -- very pleasant to write/draw with. Here's a few pics of it sheathed, unsheathed, and uncapped ...

(for reference, see the kickstarter page)

So far today it's been the Pelikan 120, M nib, still with Edelstein Olivine.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Now I'm even more intrigued by the clip!

It is functional in that it will firmly clip to a pocket ... though it is a longer pen and clip is relatively high, so it may not do well with some of the modern short-pocket shirts. The clip can be removed, but alas, the brass theaded hole extends through the cap --- too bad they didn't also offer a little brass ball (or similar) on a threaded post to plug it in place of the clip (though I'm sure I can come up with something if I decide I want it clipless).

What a very pleasing design. I'd be very tempted by this if it were more easily available.
