Here you go.

This is my 2nd one of this, I somehow lost the 1st one, then kept scouring ebay for months until this one showed up; this one was NOS, still in the packaging. There is a mouse on the end of the barrel, too, which I forgot to snap. Very smooth writer and you can probably grok why I have 1864 in it.

Thank you, @chromantic, this one I really did not know 😃

Also with the original nib. Thanks for sharing, @mallymal1

I started testing this 1950's Ero pen. I got this pen from a thrift store and It has been happily living in my "to do" box until today.

It has a Kugel/Ball tipped nib (14K) with some flex, so a pretty forgiving nib.

Somehow this pen doesn't really appeal to me, perhaps it is the grey color or the bright fake gold plating.

I find the grey quite attractive! Maybe you could just rough up the plating a bit. ;)

Was thinking to bury it in the garden for a couple of weeks to give it some patina 😉

I also like the look of the pen.

Whatever you do, enjoy it.

Today it's been the purple Pilot Falcon (SF nib) with Sailor Souboku; and the black Parker 21 I bought Saturday morning at an estate sale.

Can't tell for sure if the nib on the 21 is an F or EF; went to flush it out yesterday and reconstituted whatever ink was in the pen (can't tell if it's a blue-black or just black which had a blue component dye; guessing that it MIGHT be Quink Blue Black, but an older formulation that is less teal leaning, and just was supersaturated from having dried in the pen). So far so good -- the barrel and hood don't seem to have any cracking (like what happened with the hood on the red 21's hood).  My husband was a bit concerned that the tipping was a bit uneven looking when I showed it to him during breakfast -- but it seems to be a smooth writer and I'm not having any issues with it catching on the paper or being scratchy.

Very pretty - luckily, hooded nib retractables do not really appeal to me (however brilliantly engineered). 🤭

Esterbrook LJ with a 2968 broad nib.  It was purchased nib-less and sac-less some years ago.

Gotta ask:  how fast do you run out of ink with a B and the lousy converter? Or do you have the old converter?

I'm expecting good usage out of the B nib, as I'm reusing an old cartridge.

Probably  holds around twice as much ink as a converter?

Aha! Enjoy.  I'll have to remember that trick.
