I think Luxor, are distributors for Parker in India?

The Wilson Coronet, isn't a Parker pen. It was made by Wilson Pen Private Ltd.

Hope this information helps.

Hello.

I don't know anything about Indian pens or pen makers, but I learned in the thread below that Wilson copied and sold Parker products. (Additional links to details from the manufacturer Wilson are included, for reference...)

I have the impression that Wilson and Luxor are different pen makers.

Thank you for the info.

I had completely forgotten about Wilson even though I do vaguely remember coming across them in the 90's.

It was an oversight on my part.  :headsmack:

They did 'copy' popular models and hence the pen cap does not have the coronet logo. I think they folded around 2000.

Luxor do manufacture some models like Vector.

A great combo.

It seems like the pen was infused with Kon-peki.  :D

I come here and see pens I've not used in years....and say...opps.

Lamy Imporium has the most springy almost semi-flex...2 X nib:thumbup:....if it had gone out to 3 X, by hook or crook I'd have it.

Do have a 18 K nail Lamy Persona now a CI from Pendelton Brown.....and also not used in quite a while.

That gets to be a problem when one has 90 pens...........:happyberet:

Surprising you should mention that as I only discovered it after the purchase.

I had assumed it to be the standard 14K Lamy nib.

Any reason for the flex?

Only 90 pens, I had assumed your collection to be a lot more fertile.  :D

The Parker Arrow, was never trademarked by Parker in other's had used it before Parker.

The P-51's shape was copied by most of the European makers, including Aurora (the 88, perhaps the most successful of the clone/copies) right after WW2.

That's a much less expensive pen than your usual choices.  How are you liking it?

I can't say that it is better than the Visconti Ti Skelton but for the price it is a super nice pen!

Haha, excellent idea, thank you, @A Smug Dill. I hold R&K in high regard and like in particular the Alt-Grüngold and the SketchINKs I have from them. And their cleaning fluid.

Also: Doh, I missed buying R&K ink while being in their hometown! We had just a few hours, and did quite a bit of walking and seeing abd doing in the time, and the stop at the stationary shop was purely random - same building where we parked.

On the way to the Harz area of Germany I did research all the factory visits that could have been possible. Pelikan was the star iirc, but it simply wasn't reasonable this time.

Online

Is in department stores in Germany, may have been in my B&M a while back. Wasn't looking for any, so didn't see any the last few times I was in that shop.

I never looked at to buy in it has a nail nib like Faber-Castel or Lamy......some say there are nibs from Lamy that are not nails. The Imporium(sp) has a great 2 X tine sperad nib......had it gone out to 3X I'd had one by hook or crook.

A pair of Pelikans today - my newest Level L65 (fine nib, which was my excuse for buying yet another) and my M800 in blue.

Lovely pics, thank you for sharing, Jean-Yves! The L65 with an F nib is also inked on my desk, played nicely today for taking notes during meetings.
