Today it's been the Light Grey Pilot Decimo, F nib, still with the as yet unidentified Diamine ink (at some point I'm going to have to go through all the reviews and ALL the comparisons of their teal and blue-black inks in an attempt to figure out what it is); and the Pilot Falcon, SF nib, still with Sailor Souboku.

I would have preferred to use my CS Belliver, but I had to use a stylus to sign an image/author release.

Today it is a Sheaffer Life White Dot (with Diamine Violet) and a Pelikan 120 (with Diamine Amaranth).

Today is one of those days where every pen that I have used so far ran out of ink as soon as I wrote a few lines in my journal. The culprits in order were: MontBlanc 144 IB, Reform 1745 EF, Reform F 14k spade nib, model unknown.

Top 5 of 25 currently inked pens:

MontBlanc 144 IB, Herbin Orange Indien/ Wearingeul Frost

Sailor 🐧 Mini Pro Gear Slim M, Van Dieman’s Neptune’s Necklace

Pelikan M605 F, Pelikan Edelstein Moonstone

Wing Sung 698 SF, Pelikan Edelstein Golden Lapis/ Sapphire

Cross Wanderlust Malta M, DeAtramentis Columbia Blue-Bronze-Copper

Parker 61 with Private Reserve Tanzanite.  Haven't used this pen in quite a while.  Nothing special about the nib, just a decent writer.  I believe it's the only "capillary filler" pen that was ever made, and I'm curious how much writing I'll get out of a single filling.

👍   +1 for your 61 😀

I went with cleaning them and bringing out more Xmas goodies.  So yesterday, my pens in use once I was done  (will use them all today as well) were:

Sailor 1911 Profit Light shiny blue B with Sailor 2022 Pen Show Exclusive/ Pennonia Arany gold shimmer additive

Monteverde Impressa blue/FPR Ultraflex EF (the nib fits perfectly on this pen) with Dominant Industry Dusk

Pelikan M300 Cursive Italic F with Pelikan Golden Beryl

Pilot Lady (I think) brown sheepskin F, with Pilot Iroshizuku Tsuki-Yo (not a Xmas pen, but a club member asked me to bring it on Sunday)

Nice colors.  They all look interesting, especially the Dusk.  Looking forward to seeing some of those inks in action.

I forgot what your Pilot Lady pen looks like.  When I googled it, it showed a pen that looked like my Pilot Art Flower Pen.  Is that what you have?

Art Flower is 2nd one down...

Nice L2000.

I've been in this hobby for a while. Like most hobbies you go down rabbit holes (buy more). Eventually I settle into the one that does it best.

My others are lonely. Perhaps I'll sell them or give them away.

Current lineup:

Lamy 2000

A bunch of others

I didn't intend to criticize your choices in any way. My point was that even though I like the LAMY 2000 in how it looks and certainly recognize its iconic status, I really can't... stomach the way it writes I write with it 🙂

It’s very like your Art Flower, but with an inlaid nib similar to an Elite.

Hi ISR

The top pen is a Namiki Shogun<F>  in sterling.  From Chuck Swisher in Virginia Beach. Today it's known as a Pilot Silvern.

2nd pen is a Pilot Art Flower<M> which I got at Menash's pen store in Manhattan.  Maybe you know of it from the old days?

3rd pen is a Pilot 743 FA

4th is a Pilot Elite<M>

5th is a Namiki Vanishing point<M>  faceted, matte black, SS, from Fountain Pen Hospital in the old days

6th is another Pilot Elite<F>

No, this one is standard issue. I have a Sheaffer with an inlaid nib that has a replacement section.

@USG -- Thanks for the info.

No, not familiar with Manesh's.  Haven't lived in the greater NYC area since 1987 -- so *way* before finding my way into this hobby.  I did get to stick my nose into Fountain Pen Hospital the day after Christmas when we were visiting my sister-in-law & her husband for a few days.  And while they didn't seem to have quite the level of stuff in stock they used to, at least they're still open, and still in their old location on Warren Street (apparently, from what the guy in the store told me, the deal with moving over to the West Side fell through).  And then went over to the Lamy SoHo store from there.
