lovely! that is a pen I plan to make my pen of the year sooner or later!, perhaps the long sigar though (your piccolo looks fantastic however!)

the right nib does require some thought...

The lowly HongDian 517S that I used daily at work. Reliable and rugged. It became a second nature to reach for it from my pocket every time I needed to jot down a note. Until I lost it a few weeks ago. I still reach for it from muscle memory and it feels weird when it's not there anymore. I didn't think I'd ever miss a cheap knock about pen that much.
