Sheaffer Guys and Dolls ≠ No Nonsense

I've always wanted one of the Sheaffer "Dolls" ring top pens and recently found a lime green one similar to this post by FPN user Phthalo whose photo appears below.  I was VERY surprised to find that the nibs from Sheaffer No Nonsense Pens were too large in diameter to fit!  Upon doing a bit of research it seems that the Guys and Dolls pens were precursors to the No Nonsense.  Any idea what other nib units fit these??

Thank you for trying the nibs on for size. Oh well...

Not the school pen nibs. They look like NN but they are smaller, so I thought maybe..... but no, they are too small.

Congratulations OCArt!   What a great find. Having been a Sheaffer fan for decades, and having owned and collected No Nonsense and its many variations (Vintage, Viewpoint, Le Bordeaux, Le Black, etc) since 1974, I have only seen one each lime and orange Guys & Dolls. Both were owned by a long-time Sheaffer employee. Like you, I had always assumed the nibs and feeds were interchangeable with NN. Thanks for the education. Enjoy your weekend.

NN sections are both too big in diameter and too long.  The plastic is a bit weird compared to the later NN pens too.
