What a nice selections of Duponts. I have only one. a slightly different navy blue one than yours. The top cap joint is a bit lower than yours.

I had the pre-1923 MB Safety pen, repaired, restored and polished by Francis, but my local made me a 950 Parisian silver snake clip for it. emerald eyes don't glow as mush as hoped.  G5c05Mu.jpgnYkLum8.jpg

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

Where do you get colored ebonite feeds??  I'm intrigued..

FNF sell them in the US, but at a ridiculous price.

In the UK, Turners workshop have them for a lot less - https://www2.theturnersworkshop.co.uk/red-bock-compatible-ebonite-nib-units.html

Mine came directly from India - I think  Penworld, but my memory's not great at the moment. They were definitely made by Magna Carta

Thanks. I think yours - at least the one you pictured on FPN recently - is a Classique, which is the same model as my black one on the left of my photo.

Thank you.

I think your suggestions will be helpful in the future when the pen experiences some functional trouble.

You’re very welcome, but I hope your new pen gives you no trouble at all!

My Majohn P136 arrived today and so far - just dipped - it seems great out of the box 🙂. We seem to now be at a stage where Chinese brands manage to achieve this whereas European ones don't (the Kaweco from my last post was really hard work) 🙈.

Pretty! I love grey.
I bought a new pen in the old sense, an E. S. Perry Osmoroid M3R. Every time I go into my local art supply shop, I like to buy random dip pen nibs and try them -here’s a  couple of pictures:

I have a set of six Osmoroid nibs in a package I got on English Ebay.

I like the italic nibs.

Osmoroid was once very big in italic nibs.

A BB one is on my copper Estie.

I also have a black Osmoriod lever Pen I've not used since I got it years ago. I think the sac is shot and it's really not worth repairing it, being on the 4th tier side. And I have a couple of Esties to take the screw in nib sections.

I need to find a pen that takes my Osmoroid fountain pen nibs. I have a few italics and a copperplate, but misplaced the body long ago. I’ve been looking at Esterbrooks but will probably wait for the pen show. I’m in love with that italic dip nib.

I saw a bunch while trying to find out exactly what kind of nib I bought. I  put a set on my watchlist. Penabling is fun!

The Estie alternate section will take Osmiroid nibs, but they won't work with the converter because of the Osmiroid's nipple. You can cut the nipple off. My best solution has been to have Shawn Newton make sections for his pens that take Osmiroid (and Esterbrook) nibs. I have several of these. With these, you don't need to amputate the nib extension. They work with Lamy converters. (Z28?).

Ignorance is a curable curse, especially when the cure is free................:unsure:total ignorance is the curse of ball point users...........:P in they don't speak the language.

That is the English Osmiroid that  screw in fits the Eastie:thumbup:,

not the newer Chinese Osmiroid:crybaby:.

I don't know how many decades ago, Osmiroid was sold, but it was, and that the Chinese nib section didn't fit the Estie was something I remembered from my reading on the com.
