I got this pen today

Sailor TUZU red with a broad nib. I will ink it later before I play with the adjustable nib, which may be imitated very soon. In my recollections, the Parker 75 has a special key that allows the user to rotate the nib to his preference.

When I was 12-13, I saw this line in a catalog from Service Merchandise or Best and was fascinated by the idea of matching your pen to your outfit, and the little tapestry pen pouches that came with the clipless ones. I forgot all about them until a few years ago when I stumbled upon Peyton Street Pens and found a baby blue TRZ that is super cute. 🥰

@Penguincollector That is GORGEOUS!

I saw a green tartan finish one online and it didn't wow me at all.  But yours?  There's enough differentiation between the light and dark sections of pattern.

Sigh.  Now I want one.... :wallbash:

And of course I think I have a couple of converters that might fit in a Fashion pen, due to an unexpected bonus at an estate sale I was at a couple of months ago where I picked up the two Snorkel desk pens and the box they were on top of had a couple of slim press bar converters in it; I suspect that they were *supposed* to be for the two other desk pens and stand for them that I DIDN'T buy -- don't know what the other two desk pens were (other than that they were white dot model Sheaffers).

This size Fashion takes regular cartridges and I’m pretty sure it takes modern converters, but I would double check that. It takes the regular squeeze ones from the ‘80s for sure.  Thanks for complimenting my new pen! 😊

The slim converters are hard to find and if you can find them they are quite expensive.

In my case they were just an added bonus.  The grand total of what I spent (including a $3 LP record, the two Snorkel desk pens, the two converters and a lovely little Oberon journal with an embossed leather (I think) cover and an nearly full pad of paper in it?  Nine bucks US.

Spent more up the block which at the yard sale which was getting under way on the coat rack/hall tree (got that for twenty bucks).  Ironically, one of the things I had gone to the estate sale for was to look at a couple of those, then forgot to look for them -- and when I went back, some other people were loading at lest one of them into the back of a pickup truck....

Thank you @RedPie I got the ink for a gift last year. It was easy to grab, and well, Conklin blue ink in Conklin blue pen seemed right. Plus I do like turquoise inks.

Just received the package :)

S.T. Dupont Olympio (midi size) Laquer de Chine Godrons

The lacquer finish on the body is incredibly beautiful, it shimmers from cherry to bright red at different angles.

I am a big fan of S. T. Dupont pens, and I am delighted with this one.

I had a Fidelio and sold it. I'm not sure why since it was a great pen.

I got this Georg Jensen Bespoke All Purple Alligator Fountain Pen.  For those not familiar with the brand, I believe Georg Jensen started as a silversmith in Copenhagen in 1904.  Their website says, “With a history that spans more than 100 years, the Georg Jensen brand represents quality craftsmanship and timeless aesthetic design, producing lifestyle products ranging from hollowware to watches, jewelry and home products.”

The cap is sterling silver and the barrel is wrapped in alligator.  It has a fine stainless steel nib.  The craftsmanship is exquisite.

I won it BNIB on eBay for a fraction of its original price.  It joins a previously purchased Georg Jensen Master Fountain Pen.

@tutelman thank you for sharing the information on Georg Jensen. I have Danish relatives and ancestry, which puts this penmaker on my radar now. Thank you again.

Hi Misfit.

I hope I don’t burst your Danish bubble but, although Georg Jensen is Danish, the pen is stamped made in Germany.  Also, I’m not sure if GJ is still making pens.  I don’t see any on their corporate website.

I know that Jomashop has some at significant discounts from full retail.  (I bought my Master from Jomashop at a significant discount from their advertised web price during a sale.)  I’ve also seen them at Copenhagen Silver, Danam Antik, Amazon, Ty Lee Pen Shop and Walmart.  I found my new one on eBay.  I suspect the reason that I got it so cheaply was the obscurity of the brand.
