This is a lighter from S. T. Dupont from the 1990s,  model "ligne D".

@yubaprof, you are right!

Do I get a prize for my correct answer? By the way, that is a very nice photo. The elegance of the objects in it is enhanced by your lighting and composition.

The prize will be next time :)

Thank you. The pen is very shiny, it is difficult to take a photo without having white spots on the bright parts of the photo.

  That’s a lovely pairing, @Tashi_Tsering! I love the slim pens from that time period. I should try to find a nice pipe lighter, but that’s probably for a different forum.

Thanks! I also like slim pens from the 70-80s, but as a collector. I prefer to use thicker pens.

  I’m the opposite, love writing with the slim, small pens, but l admire the large pens.

Rare Streamlined Montblanc Meisterstuck L30 (1931-34) Push Knob Filler.

The pen is in fair condition. I collect Montblanc pens, so I am very pleased with the purchase.

Stunning. Were my hands more skilled I’d invest in a Naginata nib. Alas, it would be like putting me in Hamilton’s race car, just wadded up in Turn 1 😉

That would be me with a super flex nib....  I don't even PRETEND to covet a Naginata nib....

  I ended up with a few new ones today after hanging out with my friends at the pen club.

  First, I saw this little Salz at the PNW Pen Show, but I didn’t have a chance to take it home that day. Luckily, the exhibitor is a local friend, and so I was able to ask them to bring it to the next meeting for me. It’s the smallest of my mini pens, shown next to my M800 for reference:

  Then, my friend Stewart had a bunch of pens for sale, among them some beautiful Eversharp Skylines. I finally have a train pen, with a fine flexible nib to boot!

    I was making my way around the room, not intending to get any more pens, but another member and I were looking at a safety pen that he was trying to fix, and he also had a few pens priced to sell. I ended up with a  blue cloissoné pen and a Waterman Red Ripple 52 1/2. large.IMG_1182.jpeg.bc35531fdd804f2d0e0b25295f897657.jpeg

Wow, @A Smug Dill- what a gorgeous ebonite pen, worthy of that Naginata concorde nib.

  Thank you! The Salz is 18k overlay,  and the Cloissoné pen says “GSP”  on the clip, and <GS> on the nib, that has a similar construction to the Platinum Wing Flow nib.

I got a TWSBI Diamond Mini AL Grape with 1.1mm stub nib today. I filled it with Wearingeul’s F. Scott Fitzgerald The Great Gatsby ink, which was a gift from a friend.
