I was given several inexpensive lever fillers today: two mini pens from fellow pen club member Mike W.- a Treasure Favorite and an Arnold; and a Wearever from my friend Stewart, who also sold me a blue Eversharp Ventura. I love the looks of the Ventura and the lovely nib. I squealed in delight when I saw the miniature pens, I was so smitten. 😍 Working miniatures are my favorite.

Parker “Jack Knife” 23½L, made, I think, 1915-1920.

Very interesting pen, predecessor of Duofold.

BCHR, button filler, flex nib #3, overall length (with cap) 135mm.

Thanks! It’s funny, I have avoided lever fillers for decades because I didn’t want to maintain them, but now I have the time to do so and repair the pens. The other members of my pen club have been great at giving pointers and even supplies.

Yes :) I have been looking for one for a long time. The pen has many technical solutions that determined the further development of Parker

It was definitely an important step in pen technology of the time. The Baby sized Jack Knife is on my list.  The condition is wonderful as well.

Nice, I can see you got a fine, I'am currently writing with a fine one too but in the classic green variant.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

I got a Conklin Heritage Word Gauge with 1.1mm stub nib today. It’s the blue one. I think it looks like blue sky and clouds. The ink is Levenger Blue Bahama.

If I bought a pen bag and got given a free pen to go with it I would immediately think that someone is overcharging me somewhere for something!

Unless that is the story you spun your wife when asked why you were buying MORE new pens?

Oh no, not like that. I have some 10 pen bags lying around. When I opened one, I found this pen. I must have had this pen for many years. It is what I collected in my younger years.

In my younger years I collected new pens, mostly Pelikans and Sailor. Now I write with vintage pens. So I was happy to find a vintage pen, that writes very well.

Arrived a few days ago but inked up today. Recent eBay purchase, 1950's English Waterman's Champion 501 in burgundy with a semi-flex fine nib. Put thru' my ultrasonic tank, new ink sac fitted and light polish. Ink is Lamy blue ink. I've already got an identical pen so might put this back on eBay.
