Thicker than a Faber Guilloche, thinner than a Monteverde Ritma?

In the market for a pen that’s cylindrical, not cigar shaped. have both the Faber Castell Guilloche and the Monteverde Ritma and wouldn’t you know it, would rather have something between those widths. All suggestions gratefully received.

A wet writing nib is a bonus. thanks in advance.

A Wet pen can be achieved by using a Wet Noodlers or Japanese Ink.

Or spreading the shoulders 'slightly' of a normal classic shaped nib.

A good slick paper like Rhoda 80-90g helps in laying a wet line. The ink hangs out on top of the paper being wetter longer.

I can't help you in I don't have either brand, so don't know how large you want a Large pen.

Nor how heavy.

You don't mention an @ price.

An Ahab (a pretty good sized pen) in it has a stiff semi-flex can give you a real wet line if you use a real wet ink.

Semi-flex is a wetter nib in the tines spread so write wet.

If you do or have the Ahab/Pilot Mod done to the nib, it becomes a first stage superflex (Easy Full Flex) and a real nice wet writer.

I suggest writing with the Ahab for a week before doing the mod.  That way you can see how much better the mod is.

5 or so years ago, the Ahab was quite a fad for a few years. I recommend it as a big wet pen.
