Hakase - lose nib/feed

Sent the pen off for a nib tune-up and the nib master commentented on how lose the nib/feed is.  Hadn't checked it prior to sending.  It is indeed lose.

Is this a feature, or am I special? 😨

How loose is it? I took my Hakase nib and feed off to try the FA nib feed from Pilot Custom 912. They fit pretty snug, not too tight but not loose either. Can you rotate the nib feed in the section without much resistance at all? If your nibmeister said it was loose, I would trust that he was probably right.

Yes.  Looks like it will be returning to its homeland.

Problem solved!  My lack of familiarity; one o-ring too many.  One stuck in the section and the other on the base of the feed of the second nib. Lesson learned.
