Repairing Cap Jewel on Burgundy SM Deluxe

My SM Deluxe recently had a fall on hard tile, and the cap jewel took the brunt of it unfortunately. Fortunately, perhaps, the cap jewel broke in three pieces that fit back together perfectly without having any micro-chipping etc. on the cracked edges. So, If I could somehow find a adhesive to put them back together, the jewel would only show a small crack line.  So, is there a proper adhesive for these jewels? I’m hesitant to use super glue, as most do not work well with plastics, and are generally not considered the best for pen repair. But, as this pen is one of my favorite Esties, I would love to go this route, than find a new cap, or jewel if possible.

Methylene Chloride is also known as Dichloromethane, correct? I do have access to ACS,or Reagent grade Dichloromethane through my work, would this be too much or is there a specific product meant for plastic (solvent?) welding? How strong would this weld be?
