New Kaweco Classic Sport - Bordeaux!

Hi everyone,

 

It's great to be part of this fountain pen community. I rediscovered my love and passion for fountain pens recently. 

 

Coincidentally, I got my first pocket pen (Kaweco Sport, Bordeaux, medium nib) with Kaweco Caramel Brown ink cartridges and a mini piston converter today. And I must say that I am loving the experience of writing with it. It has an old world charm to it, which is accentuated by the colour, golden nib and clip, not to mention the unique design and utility. I am sure this is not my last Kaweco Sport. I may consider getting a Brass Sport later. But, I guess a Sailor Pro Gear Slim isn't very far in the future. I tend to gravitate towards retro and vintage stuff.

@Gabe Madorma Thank you! That’s wonderful to know. It’s a great little pen. I am loving writing with mine using Kaweco Caramel Brown ink, which actually shades nicely. Btw, which color did you choose?
 

They come in some nice colors. I am more of a classic design lover myself. Like those cigar-shaped pens in dark tones. But, I just thought burgundy would be a good color. Happy writing. Cheers!

I like the way you put it. Reboot it is! I am also using two Cross Baileys alternatively, inked up with dense green and black inks. Just dipping the toes before immersing myself in deeper waters. What are your go-to pens currently?
