What types of ends/finials do you like? (Poll)

I’d just like to know your opinion.

 

I personally prefer flat ends, but tell me what you like!

I love Pelikan's style of cap finial (and Graf von Faber Castell, for that matter), but I also would have voted for Flat and Conical.

I voted flat ends, although my preferences are almost the same as Gilbert i.e. I like flat ends and/or conical ends. Still ended up voting flat ends, as I like them just a bit better, most of the time.

Speaking of conical ends - I love inverted conical finials too (example: first-generation Parker 45)

I like them all.  I like the variety.  Of course, there are ugly iterations of each.  For me, the finial goes with the general appearance and contour of the pen.  IOW's, a cigar shaped pen looks great with rounded ends.  However, a more rectangular longitudinal profile works better with flattened ends.  etc.
