Hey! I’m trying to get the W.E in time for Father’s Day. I checked the UK website however it’s not available there. Thank you for your response

It seems the following shop received them but don't find them on their website. So maybe you can call them to see if they still have one in stock: https://www.pensplus.co.uk

I like it for its playfulness. if the cap can be securely posted on this fountain pen, I will be sorely tempted.

I just got my limited edition yesterday. I didn't write F for quite a long time, however I wanted a F by the intuition. I also ordered the 1902 Version, but may give up because it's too similar to the regular version. The Hugo 1831 Version is much better compared to the regular. Should be like that when you pay about 5x more.

Thanks for saying this. I was really vacillating on this one. I am in the marketing for an expensive pen but the 1902 version looks so similar to the regular version. In a way the regular version with its grey region with the ruthenium fittings have a very steam punk look that I like. Did they have the ink as well?

Yes there is a scarlet red ink as well.

By the way I just noticed that the nib on the Conan Doyle seems to be smaller and the feed looks different compared to Hugo's.

My F writes extremely smoothly though.

I just got mine together with the notebook and ink. Hmmm... I have to say the choice of plastic, the color and finish makes the pen look cheap-ish...

To clarify, I recently purchase a few MB pens like the Elvis. I feel the regular edition Elvis feels like a very nicely put together pen, whereas the ACDoyle pen feels a lot cheaper.

Can you post the cap?

Can you share a few photos?

I noticed this evening that the Montblanc USA website is now displaying the Doyle pens, ink, and notebook. I assume this means the products will soon be in Boutiques and ADs in the United States.

Less about the photos and more about the hand feel. The Elvis in particular feels heavy [no not a reference to the person;)], the chasing on the resin body, together with the chosen finishes and colors give the pen a very high quality feel. It does not come across so well in the photos.

This is one aspect I feel of the Montblanc pens that is harder to convey. I was totally not planning to get the Elvis pen at all. On paper the design did not appeal to me, and I am not a fan of Elvis's music. But when I saw the pen in the boutique, and was handed the pen to handle, I immediately knew I had to have it. Whereas I really like the ACDoyle pen in the pictures, but the real pen was a little more subdued with the grey resin and the ruthenium plating. It almost felt like a copy of some real design.
