Anyone used Ackerman pens?

About a year ago I purchased two of the Zebra G pens directly from Ackerman's website. I also bought one from Amazon back when they had them in stock last January. Never had any shipping issues or problems with delivery and Mr. Ackerman did reply promptly with a question I had about the various feeds available. I only use fountain pen ink so the "thin flow" feeds have worked just fine. As someone else suggested, I do put a small piece of tape on the Zebra G nib just to make sure it holds in place, but not sure this is really necessary.

Honestly, I love these pens. They are all I use for calligraphy. Cleaning is very easy; they disassemble into just a few parts. A quick scrub with dish soap and I'm ready for a refill. I also love the eye dropper design; no more taking the barrel off to push down a piston or tighten a converter. Just a gentle downward shake gets the ink going again nicely, and this is only necessary if using very dry inks. These pens are wet writers and the flow can be adjusted by how far you push the nib in/out.

I've tried other Zebra G fountain pens. I started with the Jinhao X750, and what a POS that was. A nightmare to get the nib to fit the feed. Do yourself a favor and don't go that route. Spend a few more bucks and buy something that's guaranteed to work. I also tried the Osprey. It was ok, but I didn't think the feed kept up very well. It also was a pain to take apart and get the nib and feed back in without puncturing my hand. The Ackerman feeds go in/out with minimal effort.

I guess this sounds like an advertisement for Ackerman, but I am in no way affiliated with him or anyone at his company. I'm just telling you my experience with his products which I do find work very well for me.

I would love to try one of the Desiderata pens, but that dude never has any in stock. I understand he is a one-man operation as well, so here's hoping joining his mailing list will eventually net me a pen.
