M1000 - Piston weight?

I've looked online to no avail. Does anyone know the weight of the M1000 piston mechanism?

Thank you!

Add lightness and simplicate.

No, and I'm not going to take mine apart...even if that and the 800 allows that.  I just know it and the 800 are partly made of brass.

 

Why?

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

The cheapest lessons are from those who learned expensive lessons. Ignorance is best for learning expensive lessons.

There are some weight measurements of uninked M1000 and M1005 pens (literally dry weight, to use an aviation term) here, at 32 and 36 grams respectively. 

Presumably you can guesstimate the (brass) piston mechanism to around 2/3 of the pen weight?
