We are happy to announce that from now on all our fountain pens will be equipped with our own in house made piston filling system.

Wishing everyone a great week!

Looks very similar to the Noodlers pen filling system in the Ahab. I always thought that that type if filling mechanism was referred to as a syringe filler. Perhaps it's just semantics?

Either way, it looks straight forward and simple. So congratulations.

BTW, where is this pen available for further inspection and possible purchase.

Thank you...

It looks like a syringe filler to me too which I think is even cooler that a piston twister. I mean who would not want a smurf syringe filler? 💙

Thank you for your response. And thank you for the congratulations.

It could be that some people call it a syringe filler, for me it is  semantics because it works as a piston just the same. Some  work in a twisting way and this one is push/pull.

We only sell our pens online on our webpage, feel free to have a look at www.garcia-deschacht.com

Just saw this now, I am new on this corner of the web. Still getting a bit confused on how this works ;) .

The original design of the Smurf pens were without the piston filler system but the good thing about it is that I can modify them to have it.

That is the advantage of creating the pen from A to Z yourself.

Anyway this system were the piston is made out of aluminium it is also possible to create them out of another metals like Silver, Argentium, gold, etc..

With kind regards,

Andy.
