Thanks for your quick review.  Glad you finally got your ink!  Always nice when an ink that looks perfect turns out to be perfect.  Enjoy!

White balance adjusted - hope it didn't distort the ink color and I hope you don't mind! I like the feel of this green - clean, calm, and a little joyous.

Thank you thank you thank you!
Much improved, my camera (phone) sucks!
😁
And I agree!!!
This ink just makes me smile. The more I use it, the happier I feel. It does everything that I've been looking for without having to do anything to the ink. (IE: Add wetteners, add tap water, add other inks)
It is just perfect straight from the vendor!

Thank you! I will have to order a second bottle when they have more available.
"Montblanc - Irish Green" just got knocked from the #1 spot in my list of favorite inks.

Wanted to post a scan to compare the color quality and see just how crappy my phone is compared to the scanner.
😆

@Detman101 You know.... you really need to compare this ink to MB Irish Green.  Hint Hint.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

@Detman101 Even though I'm unlikely to buy from Yoseka Stationery if it's the only retail outlet for this ink (since it does not offer a free shipping threshold for ‘international’ orders, i.e. from prospective customers residing in the larger part of the world), and I don't have a thing for writing with flex nibs myself, I must congratulate you on your ink review, and thank you for stepping up to address the gap you see in the ink reviews landscape in the interests of other flex nib aficionados.

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

Wow...thank you!! 😀
That really made me smile!
I am happy to place an entry into this forum that is helpful. I will provide better reviews in the future, I'm just getting started in on this here and don't have a real "method" yet.
Still planning to copy you and Liz and add my own flair, to the best of my ability...hehe.
👍

Here it is...hehe.
The "Montblanc - Irish Green" absolutely does not flow through my pens without adding another wetter ink to it (usually J.Herbin Perle Noir) or a wettening agent like "Vanness - White Lightning". I've always had to modify every fill of "M-IG" in order to get it working with my pens.
The "Yoseka - Origin .01" works perfectly fine in my pens straight out of the bottle, no modifications required.
It also has the darker deep-green tone that I always had to modify "M-IG" with the "J.Herbin Perle Noir" to achieve.
Overall, The "Origin .01" is simply easier to use and requires less work...costs less compared to "M-IG"...and does a better job of being green.

I'll still keep my bottle of "M-IG"...but I won't be using it any time soon.
😸

Oh my....This I did not expect!
This bottle of "Kaweco - Palm Green" has been sitting in my ink chest for weeks!
I never got around to testing it and it's a slightly darker version of "Yoseka - Origin .01"!!
It has all the same properties as "Origin .01" with the exceptions of being slightly darker and shading a bit less.
Not bad...not bad at all.
"Montblanc - Irish Green" just got bumped to the #3 spot.
For one bottle of "Montblanc - Irish Green" I can get 3 or 4 bottles of "Kaweco - Palm Green"!!!!
