I've lost 2 TWSBI ECO nibs, where can I get replacements?

So,with time, I've lost 2 TWSBI ECO nibs. One down the drain, one to a fall. I think TWSBI doesn't sell replacement nibs for this model, so, is there a different nib I can use on them? Or will both my pens remain useless now? :(

I didn't think these were generally removed or replaced. There are some YTube videos (search "replace eco nibs") that show replacing the nib which is a #5 nib.

Jowo #5 nib may work.

A standard JoWo #5 may (or may not) quite fit your Ecos - though JoWo manufacture TWSBI's nibs, they do so to custom specifications.

You could try reaching out to TWSBI directly (twsbiinc@gmail.com), to see if they're willing to help you. They once sent me a replacement nib for a pen that I'd damaged by my own carelessness, for only a nominal charge.

Or you could check out fpnibs.com in Spain, who are one of the few retailers to sell bare TWSBI Eco nibs.  A third option (easier to source, but maybe a bit more expensive) would be to purchase a TWSBI Vac Mini or Diamond Mini nib unit, and pull out the nib - it's exactly the same.  [Or you could buy a TWSBI Go and cannibalise the nib from it?]

I have a TWSBI Eco and it's so easy to flush out I've never needed to remove the nib. The best way to not lose nibs down the drain is to not remove them from the pens...

… or to not have a drain nearby. ;)

The Eco uses the same nib as the TWSBI Diamond Mini. When I needed a different nib for an Eco, I got the Mini nib, and the main issue was getting the nib loose from the Mini nib unit.

Or if you simply can't manage to do the job without a drain nearby ensure you have a plug or mesh strainer in there. :) Nibs seem to aim for and even change direction to ensure they go down any hole just large enough for them to fit into!

Yes, well, I only learnt that lesson after a gold nib went down the drain of my hand basin. (Against all odds, and in spite of scratching up the skin on my arm pretty bad in the process, I was awfully lucky to be able to retrieve it from where drainage from various points in the bathroom meet, right below the drain hole in the floor through which my forearm with just fit.)

That was incredibly lucky. I lost one gold nib down a hand basin drain in my bathroom. Sadly it happened to be a Pilot one. One of the most difficult to replace. :(

After evaluating all my options, it is cheaper to get the GO for the nib rather than the mini replacements. I feel bad for the GOs, but I really like my ECOs :(
