Do You Recognize This Pocket Clip?

Moving this thread here as there have been no responses in the "First Stop" sub-forum and I am pretty sure it is a FP manufactured in the USA.

My suspicion is that it is a Wilrite pen but I've not been able to confirm it.   http://www.richardspens.com/ref/tools/manhattan/wilrite.htm

Does anybody recognize this pocket clip?  Does this look like one of the clips Wilrite produced for their pens??

There are no markings on the cap or barrel.  It is a celluloid FP that looks like it is probably from the 40's +/-       

It has a #8 14k Warranted nib.

 

With the incredible wealth of knowledge here, someone must recognize it!!

The Wilrite logo on the clip is usually a W inside a circle with the word WILRITE lower on the clip.  The 15 or so Wilrites I have seen all had a logo on the lever as well, a W surrounded by a wreath of leaves inside a circle.  See image below.

Here's a photo of the entire pen.

Looks very much to me like it is a US produced celluloid pen from late 20's - late 40's.

Would love to know the brand...which is almost certainly a sub-brand of one of the larger manufacturers.
