Help identify Wahl Eversharp Doric model/size please

I recently discovered and serviced a Wahl Eversharp Doric in Kashmir pattern. The pen is missing a cap. It’s clearly a first generation Doric but I don’t know what size it is. It measures about 11.5cm from nib to barrel end and 10cm without the nib. Here is a size comparison to a WE Doric Coronet in Cathay Green. Its section threads actually go with the Cathay cap but the cap is a little too short for the Kashmir.

I know it’s a long shot but I will try to find a cap for it. If not, I will have to sell the pen as parts though it’s now serviced and ready to write. The WE FLEXIBLE nib is very nice so I’d rather find a cap for it.

Thank you for your help!

Not sure exactly what it is other than a Gen 1 Doric, but this is probably the same pen (10 cm barrel, lever details the same) and shows the cap.

@cunimThank you very much for your message, very helpful. You are probably right as the cap thread of the Cathay, which feels one size smaller, actually works on the Kashmir. The photo you showed also has the same style as the Cathay so it would make sense! Unfortunately I still cannot find a matching cap for it after contacting a few vintage pen dealers (no replies). I have put it on the bay, but would be delighted if I still can source a cap for it. Not holding high hopes.

I have one that I think is that size (although mine is 11.74 cm without the cap) also in Kashmir. Mine has a more elaborate cap, with a gold seal, a roller clip, and a wider cap band with more cutouts. The diameter at the threads is 10.86 mm. I don't know if there was more than one version with the gold seal cap. (Sorry for the quick photo, I didn't drag out my light box.) I guess this shows that they had this size pen in at least two trim versions.136977036_DorikKashmir.thumb.jpg.916e25d3e9c4d9e96844a674a9b1ce4b.jpg

@Paul-in-SFThank you for your help. My pen can be of the same model as yours too, as 11.5cm and 11.74cm can be just the difference caused by how deep the nib is seated, plus some measurement imprecision as I didn't use a caliper. This is what makes it so challenging to find a cap: I can’t be sure exactly what I should be looking for! I am going to take out my caliper to refine the measurements. Perhaps I will get closer to the answer. Btw, you have a beautiful pen, congratulations!
