Can I Put A Gold #5 Size Nib in a Esterbrook JR Pocket Pen?

Hello!

 

I was wondering if any of you know or have ever tried to put a JoWo #5 size gold nib in an Esterbrook JR Pocket pen, specifically one from fpnibs.com. Thank you for your help!

Also, what is your opinion on FPnibs.com? I would love to hear your opinions and if any of you know anything about putting one of their #5 nibs on an Esterbrook JR. Thank you!

cannot help you with the Esterbrook,

FPnibs are really very good, I've both bought nibs from them and also had a few of them ground, results were always really nice!

It’s a modern Esterbrook.

Also, I think the JoWo gold nibs are identical to the steel nibs of the same size, so if any of you have attempted to swap the nib on this pen with any JoWo nib I would love to hear your experiences!

 

Edit: Also, do you know if the Esterbrook has a swappable JoWo nib unit?
