Monteverde Portable Ink Capsule at half-price

Dymocks on George Street in Sydney CBD is offering the Monteverde Portable Ink Capsule product in all in-stock colours at 50% off their regular A$20 price at the moment. Each package contains 50ml of ink in a cylindrical clear plastic vial with a screw-on lid, as well as an empty 50ml vial of the same type.

I saw these a few days ago in the discounted inks cabinet, asked if they were also offered at half-price, and was told no. I asked again today, when I saw a new sign posted on top of the cabinet to indicate otherwise, and confirmed that they are indeed half-priced; I was also pointed to a different sign in one of the glass cabinets mounted behind the counter attesting to that. The signs didn't say when the promotion ends, and I didn't ask.

When I was there a few hours ago, there were at least six or seven different ink colours — including Horizon Blue and Capri Blue, as well as several that aren't blue — and multiple units of each in stock.

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

The discounted-goods cabinet for inks near the front of the store has been repurposed to show Private Reserve inks; and promotional signage for 50% off the Monteverde Portable Ink Capsule line has been taken down from the wall display cabinet as well, when I dropped into Dymocks yesterday afternoon.

Some of the discounted pens shown in this other thread remain as they were.

… and they're back!

I guess the staff was just in the process of changing what goes into which cabinet, but haven't quite completed the task, when I visited Dymocks a week ago.

Five colours remain (with more than one retail unit each that I could see.) No blues.
