John Mottishaw’s Nibs.com To Unite with Emmanuel Caltagirone’s The Pen Family

M2BPens, one of Manu's legal entities, has filed for Chapter 7 Liquidation.  I am not sure which of the various entities (ASC, Pen Family, Nibs.com) are part of that legal entity and the proceeding.

Nibs.com is definitely no longer a Nakaya Authorized Dealer, and this has been confirmed by Nakaya themselves.  Nibs.com is still operating.  I very recently bought a used pen from them and when I paid by PayPal the receipt showed that I had authorized a payment to Art Supplies Stationery.  I have no idea who that is, or whether the pen was being sold by Nibs.com on a consignment or whether that name is a newly formed entity that Manu has set up.

The next-to-last post says "The Miami location is closed." but it doesn't say what that location was.

Google:

The Pen Family, Pen store in Miami, Florida
Located in: Seybold Jewelry Building
Address: 36 NE 1st St #429, Miami, FL 33132, United States

The directory of the Seybold Jewelry Building does not contain a The Pen Family shop.

While there is a link to their website, Chrome refuses to connect due to a number of issues they feel are not safe.

If they were out of business 3-5 months ago, they are certainly still out of business.
