I am new to the Forum. Retired university professor, camera collector and photographer, minor fountain pen collector. I learned cursive handwriting under the Palmer method many years ago, and interested in improving my handwriting using my pen collection.

Hi.

I admit I had to google for 'Palmer method' and I love the images on Wikipedia - it is a beautiful style of handwriting.

It may not surprise you that practise is all and everything with all of the fine hand skills, be it drawing, calligraphy or 'simple' handwriting.

Writing letters is a good start!

Good luck!

Greetings and :W2FPN:

I've been using "The Art of Cursive Penmanship: A Personal Handwriting Program for Adults Spiral-bound – Illustrated, July 3, 2018" by Michael R. Sull (Author)

I found the book useful for restoring my cursive -- it's possible to remove the practice templates from the spiral and copy them. https://www.google.com/search?q=978-1510730526

Cheers!
